FAQs

We primarily service warehouses and related light industrial sites, including distribution centers, storage facilities, small & medium manufacturers, and their adjacent offices.
We have also worked with other large-scale commercial properties, such as multifamily complexes, large-format retail, and transportation facilities.
We do not service single-family residences or correctional facilities.

Warehouses and light industrial sites have several unique characteristics.
First is a focus on safety and liability mitigation as key use cases. Protecting people from hazardous materials and moving equipment like forklifts and truck trailers requires special attention. Protecting the company from unqualified claims for workers’ comp and damage to third-party equipment is also important. Security equipment that is carefully selected for resolution, lighting, placement, and AI integration can be big helps with both.
Warehouses are large and can have environmental factors like heat and humidity that need to be considered at the design stage. Cheap equipment or inexperienced installers can easily reduce the utility and lifespan of a security system.
Finally, warehouse and light industrial operators are subject to a variety of unique regulatory and contractual considerations like union contracts, insurance requirements, FRS, or CMMC that can require certain types of security systems and considerations. An installer who can help meet those criteria up front can save lots of expensive remediation down the road.

Most projects take 2-4 weeks from kickoff, but we work aggressively to help clients hit their deadlines.
We have installed equipment in as little as 3 days from the time we received a call. This normally requires expedited shipping, abbreviated (or eliminated) site surveys, and higher budgetary flexibility.
Factors like permitting and existing client workload can also extend installation timelines.

We generally suggest budgeting $1K - $1.5K per camera and $3K - $5K per access-controlled door to size your budget. These are all-in numbers and will include equipment, installation, permitting, and network support.
Of course, these numbers are subject to a wide variety of factors, so we recommend calling us for a free conversation to help assess your needs and size your project budget.

For clients who do not know what equipment they need or buying committees who need documentation, we recommend our proprietary VIPER Lite rubric, which helps commercial clients assess risk in 5 key categories and plan effective mitigations without excessive spending.

Yes, we can help diagnose, maintain, and repair existing systems.

We can work with most commercial video surveillance and access control equipment - IP or analog, cloud or on-prem.
We maintain an up-to-date assessment of recommended OEMs and solutions, which have been selected for excellence in warehouse and related use cases.
Unless specified by a use case, integration need, or compatibility requirement, equipment we carry and recommend is NDAA compliant and, where possible, designed and/or sold by local or American companies. Warranties and durability are part of our assessment rubrics for all categories.
